Below are a selection of pictures which I have selected from the internet which I feel show evidence of different kinds in different ways. Although some are similar to each other and others completely different, they all show evidence in different ways. Some show evidence in a more literate way than others.

These 2 photos above are both very similar to each other as they both are of a footprint. This shows that someone has been on that particular surface. They differ from the different angles which they have been taken at so the latter one shows more depth as it is more of a side angle. Yet they both are in black and white which just emphasises the print.

This photo is of a cup which has a lipstick mark on the side, because of this it shows that it was most likely a female who was consuming the drink. The dark background just makes the mug and the mark bolder.

These 2 photos both show evidence of vandalism as they are both of buildings which have graffiti on the walls and other areas. This shows evidence of human presence and also individuals as different people leave different 'marks'.

I feel that the 2 photos above show the idea of neglect in the sense that in the first photo it is a chair in a damaged environment and the second the rust on the padlock. The first photo uses black and white which gives the frame a gloomy effect.

This photo is of a footprint in some sand like medium. It is very much related to crime scene evidence as it is evidence of a particular person but also in s particular photograph there is a ruler on either side of the frame to take precise measurements.

The fact that the payphone is on top of the machine shows that someone has used it, someone has made a phone call to another person.

The idea of age is conveyed in this photograph as the flooring is so old that is has given in which is shown by the massive crack throughout the centre of the floor. 

Evidence of age is shown in this photo as half of the face is of an older man whilst the other is young. The fact that they are joined shows evidence of progression from young to old.

Both of these photos show age and neglect. There is damage seen throughout both of these photos and the fact that it has not been amended suggests that the building and rooms have been neglected.

This is evidence of vandalism as there are 2 people spraying graffiti on the van. The fact that he image is in black and white is suggestive that it is quite gloomy but also that it is within the night time period.

Evidence of light. Light is shown in these photos as there is a shadow created from both the birds and the person. Using black and white makes the shadows more obvious and in the first one more sharp.

The fact that there is litter alone on the grass shows that someone has been there. There is evidence that people have had a drink but then have dumped the bottle or can in a natural environment.

Lost and found. Both the items in the photos above have been lost and in the first one someone has found it. The first one shows that someone has lost a toy and another has found it and picked it up from the ground. The second shows a ball just on the ground alone, the focus is the ball and the background being blurred puts emphasis on the ball.

These 2 photos above are examples of crime scene evidence. The first with the traffic cone shows that  there has been a traffic incident whereby some area of the road have had to be bordered off. The second is a footprint which is evidence of a person having been there.

This photo is quite simple yet it suggests that the weather has been raining due to the droplets on the swing. Also the photo is quite dark that it could be suggestive of poor weather.

Evidence of age and neglect is shown in this photo a the caravan just appears to be old through its dull colourings. The idea of neglect is demonstrated by the overgrown plants growing up against the building in the background.

The bin being filled up is evidence of human presence as rubbish is gathered from humans. The bin an its contents are fully focused whilst the background is blurred. The fact that the bin contents are colourful against the dull grey background help make the rubbish stand out.

Evidence of religion. The 2 above show that someone has belief in God and that they are faithful. Both are religious pictures and phrases within a house which suggests that religion is a key aspect of their lives.

The contrast in this photograph of a young persons hand and an elderly hand is evidence of age. You can see the clear differences in skin texture and skin colour too. The help emphasise this contrast is the use of a white background.

This is evidence of a car crash a there is damage across the whole car but also the damaged car is of the road.

This photo of a house shows that it has been abandoned which is suggested by all the graffiti and also that there are no window panels. The dark sky in filling the frame around the house adds to the mood of the photo.
